Field Director (East Coast)
NDC seeks to add another full-time Field Director for its eastern United States team. A candidate based in the New York metropolitan area is preferred but not required. The position still will require travel.
Field Director (Directors) deliver NDC’s core services, including technical advisory services and capacity building, to local governments and non-profit corporations. NDC Field Directors provide expert technical advisory and development services for commercial and residential development and small business expansion. Small Business & Commercial Lending Manager
The Small Business Lending Team delivers NDC’s core small business services, including both SBA 7a guarantee financing through Grow America Fund (NDC’s SBLC affiliate) and non-SBA loan products for Community Impact Loan Fund (NDC’s non-SBA small business lending affiliate). This position centers on the referral, sourcing and structuring of small business financing transactions. The LM will work under the general supervision of the Director of Lending, exercising significant latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgement in the performance of his or her responsibilities.
The position will service a region covering multiple states and communities with deals to be sourced, at any given time, from NDC small business lending’s east, central or west regions. These communities may change, as necessitated, within the normal course of business. Furthermore, the job involves some travel to visit potential borrowers and to attend internal meetings.
CDFI Technical Assistance Coordinator
NDC seeks to add a full-time CDFI Technical Assistance Coordinator whose work will focus on expanding the impact and capacity of our partner CDFIs implementing small business-centric finance initiatives in NDC communities across the United States. The ideal candidate is a capable, experienced, vibrant and engaging professional with excellent organizational and implementation skills, who is customer-obsessed, shares NDC’s mission, and will excel within the CDFI industry and NDC’s entrepreneurial culture. Ideal candidates will have an ownership mentality and be committed to excellence, providing expertise, vision, leadership and exceptional communication and technical skills in delivery on NDC’s mission. Banking or basic finance skills, NDC EDFP certification, and/or CDFI experience are all a plus in applying for this position.Learn More
