The NDC Academy 2011 is right around the corner and we’re looking forward to a full program in Washington, D.C. The Academy brings together community practitioners who put local and Federal development programs to work creating jobs and affordable housing opportunities in low-income communities. Meet the mission-driven professionals who turn policy into results in your own backyard and celebrate their accomplishments through the Project Showcases highlighting some of the country’s most outstanding job-generating and affordable housing projects.
One of the highlights of the event is our Capitol Hill Reception, May 24, 6 pm – 7:30 pm. This year for the first time, we have decided to make the Reception a “Tweet-Up,” a public event for our social media connections to meet-up with NDC, our friends and colleagues.
