RFQ: ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT SERVICES – EPA BROWNFIELDS ASSESSMENT GRANT

Request for Qualifications for Environmental Consultant Services

Project: EPA Brownfields Assessment Grant

Release Date: September 27, 2019

The National Development Council (NDC) is requesting written Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified environmental consulting firms. NDC is soliciting these SOQs based on the need for environmental services in conjunction with a Coalition Community-wide Brownfields Assessment Grant awarded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”). The $600,000 grant award for combined assessment is to be evenly divided between suspected contaminated sites having petroleum-based substances and those with hazardous substances. The ultimate goal of the project is to facilitate the clean-up and redevelopment of brownfield sites in the State of California. NDC intends to select at least three environmental consultants with which to negotiate consulting agreements to conduct the tasks described herein.
