Due to the continued uncertainty regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), NDC made the decision earlier this month to postpone all open, in-person classes for the remainder of 2020. At the same time – we’re committed to delivering all of our scheduled training sessions for 2020 through online formats to ensure that our students can build the development finance skills they need to serve their communities, their organizations and their careers.

NDC’s Open Classes can be accessed through:
•   Self-paced, interactive multimedia instruction for the entire ED101-Economic Development Finance course and the lecture and preliminary case study portions of ED201-Business Credit Analysis.  Following the completion of the online portion of ED201, students can participate in live webinar sessions to complete the advance case study and examination requirements.
•   Live webinar versions of our multi-day certification and professional development courses.  Several classes have already been conducted through this format and additional offerings have been and will be scheduled through the end of 2020.
•   Short course webinars (typically 3-4 hours each) on specific development skills and finance tools such as New Markets Tax Credits, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and Revolving Loan Funds, have and will continue to be offered.

Please check NDC’s Training Schedule regularly for updates on class offerings at www.ndconline.org/Training/.

NDC Sponsored Training is also being delivered through the same online formats as our Open Classes.  While the pandemic has impacted training budgets across the US – online access to NDC’s certification series for Economic Development Finance Professionals (EDFP), Rental Housing Development Finance Professionals (RHDFP), Home Ownership Finance, and Historic Real Estate Development Finance Professionals (HREDFP) provide critical development finance skills and knowledge without the expense of travel, meals and lodging.  For more information on NDC’s Sponsored Training,  visit our website at https://growamerica.org/training/sponsored-training/, email training@ndconline.org or call (513) 657-7870.

As the nation tackles the long and tough road to recovery, the work of community, housing and economic development professionals is more important than ever.  NDC Training stands ready to partner with you and your organization to build the capacity needed to speed the recovery.
