NDC recently participated in the City of Spokane Opportunity Zone Listening Session. The Session was held on July 11, 2018 in response to multiple inquiries requesting more information regarding Opportunity Zones. The most current information on the Zones and Funds was discussed. The session also gave City Representatives a chance to hear from local business, government, Tribal and community leaders about potential investments, to assist in identifying needs within the community.
The feedback from the meeting will help the Washington State Department of Commerce as it plans a statewide Opportunity Zone convening this September in Seattle.
