Celebrating the Newly-Constructed Market Street Homes and Breaking Ground on Gateway Apartments
NDC proudly congratulates community partners the Madison County Housing Authority (MCHA) and Madison County Community Development (MCCD) on two more achievements to add to their remarkable success in bringing affordable housing to their community: Market Street Homes and Gateway Apartments. MCHA and MCCD, along with the cities of Madison and Venice, hosted a celebration on July 12, 2011 to bring together project participants and recognize the importance of these projects in providing safe affordable housing for Madison County residents.
Market Street Homes
New construction of five single-family homes financed in part with Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds.
Gateway Apartments
Redevelopment of two dilapidated public-housing projects into 78 mixed-income units financed in part with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity.
