NDC Field Director Regina Celestin will participate in a panel discussion at “The Emerging Green Economy: Access & Opportunity for Diverse Communities,” a seminar to be held on Friday, May 21 at the Melville TI Building (68 S. Service Road) in Melville (Nassau County, Long Island), New York.  The panel discussion, which includes a Q&A session, is titled, “How to Green Up Your Building & Find the Money to Do It.”

Celestin is an NDC Field Director of our East Team and is a leading member of NDC GREEN, NDC’s newest addition to a strong portfolio of housing, community and economic development financing programs. Using Renewable Energy Tax Credits and Renewable Energy grants, NDC has developed techniques which can put these resources to work to bring down the costs of sustainable energy practices for community and economic development projects, and provide ‘green jobs’ as well.  Drawing on its signature expertise in structuring difficult investments, NDC is working to bring the benefits of solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, fuel cell, geothermal and small wind energy facilities communities throughout the country.

The seminar is presented by Abundant Communities Together, Inc. (ACT), a faith-based community development corporation whose mission is to create abundance through the transformation of communities.
