As the second largest city in Wyoming, Casper is a regional hub for banking and commerce and serves as a cultural center for the surrounding, predominantly rural community. Although it is a dominant force in the region, it currently lacks a civic auditorium, despite efforts over the last 18 years to build one. Today, the group Citizens for a Civic Auditorium is proposing to develop one and NDC is helping the city evaluate the project. As part of the evaluation, NDC is analyzing the group’s business plan and financial assumptions, and will provide a report to the city manager and city council, which they will use as they decide whether to provide public funds for the project.
