NDC Is Pleased to Recognize the Achievement of Its Community Partner!
Since 1949, the National Civic League has honored communities of all sizes that overcome local challenges with a special commitment to collaboration among community stakeholders. The City of Inglewood, CA joins this elite group at the 60th Annual All-America City Awards event July 17-19. Inglewood’s Village at Century, Residential Sound Insulation Program and Youth Automotive Training Program helped it clinch a spot among this year’s winners.
Criteria for selection include involvement of a broad range of community stakeholders, inter-jurisdictional cooperation in tackling complex community issues and in decision-making, leveraging of community resources, demonstrable project results that solve some of the community’s most pressing problems and that will benefit the community well into the future, and projects that improve the lives of youth.
